Our recycling rates consistently run at over 95% and we are continually looking to the future as we strive to create a more accountable built environment.
Sustainability
We are constantly investigating the latest materials available to reduce our carbon footprint and are committed to researching alternative energy methods.
Emissions
We are gradually moving to low emission vehicles as we add to and upgrade our fleet and we encourage smarter driving habits to reduce fuel usage.

We have an ethical commitment to the local community and environment. We actively encourage and support team member involvement in local community and charity projects by matching any time taken to complete voluntary activities with an equivalent amount of time given back as additional holiday entitlement. This allows us to put plans around staff engagement and the Ruggles & Jeffery team are motivated to become involved in putting something back into society.
When we agree to support local teams, we invest time and effort rather than just donating money.
We continue to be proud supporters of Essex Wildlife Trust, contributing in many ways to the fantastic work the Trust completes across our region.

We also continue to be proud supporters of the ‘Lighthouse Club’ – the Construction Industry Charity that provides confidential 24/7 support to Construction Workers and their families when in crisis.
As a group and as individuals we are passionate about putting something tangible back into our local community and taking care of the Environment which is, after all, at the heart of our Mission Statement.
