Managing Fire Safety in the Workplace

Don’t let your Fire Doors Let You Down!
Are the engineers completing your Fire Risk Assessment Remedial Works Correctly Certified?

At the end of March 2021 the Government committed to ensuring fire safety in all regulated buildings, saying it would increase penalties for failure to comply with regulations.

In a speech Fire Minister Lord Greenhaigh said “Everyone should be safe in the buildings where they live, stay or work.  Our new measures will improve fire safety and help save lives, but we will also take firm action against those who fail in their duty to keep people safe”.

Engaging Ruggles & Jeffery Ltd  to complete your Fire Risk Assessment Remedial works will provide peace of mind that all the works are being completed by experienced, competent and certified skilled craftsmen.

Our skilled craftsmen have attended specialist training provided by NOCN (National Open College Network) in collaboration with the British Woodworking Federation. As a result they have been certified having completed the very important Certified Fire Door Installation Awareness Course.

NOCN have produced  this Assured Course through their collaborative work with the British Woodworking Federation to promote awareness in the construction industry of the factors involved and the appropriate installation of timber fire doors. The outline structure and content of this course is Assured by the National Open College Network.
