Continuing Investment in Training for our Team

There is no doubt that recent years have been challenging but we remain committed and determined to maintain the most qualified and skilled team possible.

Our teams have been busy, involved with both new and refresher training that has included:

  • 5 Day CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) for our Site Managers.
  • First Aid at Work Qualification and Annual Refreshers for all our First Aiders
  • Asbestos Awareness Training (UKATA)
  • PASMA – Working at Height/Mobile Towers
  • Manual Handling
  • PAT Qualification
  • Abrasive Wheels
  • Safety Awareness Training

As well as our planned training that has seen our teams benefit from lots of training in health and safety related activities we have also been focusing on improving how we impact on our local communities.

Driving Behaviour

One of our greatest potential impacts on our local communities is related to transport associated with our site activities across the country. We take our responsibilities in the local community seriously and it is for that reason we have been working with a specialist organisation that can help our drivers think more about how they might be able to improve their driving behaviours, how that might impact on others and how improvements will benefit the local community.
