We had to ensure that the new look façade was in keeping with the heritage of Sawbridgeworth
To provide level access at street level into the bank and then provide steps and a wheelchair lift to the upper level of the banking hall.
A first class finish and a new look façade that was entirely in keeping with the heritage and past of Sawbridgeworth.
The entrance door and frame had to be lowered to take up the gap where the old steps were removed and a borrowed light installed above the door. New balustrades were then fabricated to suit the new levels. New bespoke Portland stone work and paving was installed around the entrance to complete the works.
